DeleteHollywood writers are on strike so let’s hope the Bold and Beautiful writing crew of nine spends that downtime reading blogs, online soap magazines, watching some good dramas and such for fresh ideas … according to IMBD there are only three females currently on the writing team, Shannon Bradley, sister-in-law of Bradley Bell, Tracey Ann Kelly and Michele Val Jean which I found curious as the majority of the audience is female. The Head Writer, Bradley Bell, Co-Head Writer, and Associate Head writer are all men which must influence storylines and scripts. Yes, Lawrence Saint Victor is still listed as a writer. It could just be the nature of the beast but all of that testosterone is not helping this stale show IMHO.
DeleteBbfan Elle is right. It was an American sitcom but now he has resorted to an American Medicare commercial. So maybe they are helping him out but he doesn't fit into this character on a soap. It's almost embarrassing for writers of this show to go there. I don't think it will boost ratings.

But, we are seeing Hope having daydreams about Thomas and getting beside herself yet, she is not interested in Thomas. 🤔🤔
Because we know who Thomas is! It’s not rocket science that Thomas will revert back to his old ways before long. And I didn’t see one single daydream from Hope on the last couple episodes she has been on. It’s all been about her excitement that RJ is back.

DeleteSo as I said earlier Elle, Hope hasn’t had any daydreams about Thomas since RJ returned. Maybe the sibling thing is finally getting to her - AS IT SHOULD!! Since she and Thomas were raised by the same parents and anything romantic between the two of them would be incredibly yucky!! Talk about Bleh!!! Anyway, like I said…no Hope daydreams the last few episodes she has been on. I’m thinking that’s a sign of sanity creeping into her head.
As far as Thomas is concerned…we all know who Thomas is. And it’s just a matter of time before he’s back to his dastardly deeds. So the fact that we are anticipating that just makes sense. Thomas is still the number one problem child. No one has forgotten that just because he’s been playing nice for a few minutes.
Elle any child not half Logan is going to be hated as well as their mother for not being a Logan. 🙄🙄🙄🥱🥱🥱. I agree Thomas has done absolutely nothing bad or shady or even questionable since his exile, therapy etc. He’s been focused, a team player, good father and person in general.

Ridge has been spreading it on so very thick. Any adult child would feel a bit unhappy if their parent so clearly favoured a sibling.
I hope RJ goes over to Spencer Pub and does something different. After all he said about being his own person, not just working at Forrester blah blah. I want to see him do something different.
What is really hilarious is literally every Logan has been handed a job a Forrester. Even felony Flo got a cushy job and her only experience was as a server at the beach club lol. Unless you count being a grifter with Dr Reece lol. Donna certainly has no skills for her position well other than ones a lady doesn’t mention 😈😈.
I still remember Ridge telling Steffy and Thomas they had to start in the mailroom as interns before they got to do anything else… Like he and their Uncle Thorne did. Even Zende started out as a photographer at Forrester and eventually moved into designing.
Hope, Rick, RJ we just hand them any job they want. Pays to be Brooke’s bairn!! Or niece, sister, etc.

RJ is not gay! There is nothing about him that comes across as homosexual. And I think his acting skills are just fine!

I actually think that RJ favors Nick. Several times during his scenes, when he turned his head to talk to Ridge, I saw a resemblance to Nick Marone.

DeleteElle, sure they could pick up the Thomas / Hope drama again. But I think it’s gonna go in the other direction now that RJ is back. RJ is gonna be the focus. And my bet is that the Hope / Thomas thing (whatever that thing was) totally fizzles out. I don’t think it’s ever gonna turn into anything.
I also noticed Hope was acting more normal around Thomas as of today and have hope the disgusting nonsense of Thope may be put on hold. Now if only she can mention in next episode "Thomas, he's our brother!" 🥺😂

I saw someone mention (missed it was you) and it sounded to me like it means "there will be a storyline about him not being Ridges son ergo not Forrester, but Marone" so I mentioned that all of them are anyway Marone, as both brothers are Massimo's sons. None of them have any Forrester blood.

DeleteM, that's what happens when a particular storyline has been going on for decades then, out of the blue, they decide to switch it. Ridge was always Eric's son and had always had his designing genes/blood. 4 decades later, they decide to switch his paternity. Go figure. So I think it's a case of everyone being used to how it had always been before the switch in paternity.
Elle, I really liked Nick. I wish they would bring him back too. I didn’t see the whole Nick / Brooke love affair. But I always thought Nick was a total hottie!! 😁
DeleteYes, he definitely was a hottie, Lynn! But more than that, he was a fantastic actor and had chemistry with everyone. His relationship with Brooke started off as another scandal, of course, but it was more grounded than her previous affairs.
