DeleteOkay, here we go. Sheila got a new plan. She is gonna try to get Finn and Hope together. That way, she will have contact with her son, and her grandson when he is with Finn. So she thinks anyways. She is gonna put ideas into Hopes head now, and maybe even work Finn a bit without him knowing, leading him in Hopes direction.
ReplyDeleteMalin the way Sheila operates, and given her current motives, I think it will be enough for her to give the appearance that there is something between them to make Steffy flip out 😅 she will fabricate something or set them up. If it's only a kiss, it would be mighty hypocritical of Steffy to kick Finn out, considering she has two with Liam she never even mentioned (and hiding it is much worse than the kisses themselves, considering Finn wouldn't hold them against her knowing they came from Liam. But hiding them sends the signal that there is, in fact, something to hide). But that's Steffy, self-righteous hypocrite, rules never applied to her.

DeleteBrooke has been giving Hope the right advice. But now that Sheila knows what’s going on….all bets are off!! Sheila is definitely going to become matchmaker. I read this was going to happen months and months ago. Looks like some of those illegitimate spoilers can come true if we wait long enough. All and all a pretty boring episode today.

It’s like that in real life too, so don’t even get me started on that one!! 6 months - a year ago I vented on this blog about that very issue. Ridiculous double standards.
But back to Steffy’s responsibility in this - Steffy (as a married woman) had a responsibility to be honest with her husband Finn. No, she didn’t initiate the kisses, but Finn deserved to know the truth about what happened. And Steffy failed to deliver that truth. And as far as the mannequin misunderstanding, and subsequent sex between Liam and Steffy…..no one was forcing Steffy’s hand there. Steffy slept with married Liam and THE ONLY REASON she told Finn about her night together with Liam is because Liam absolutely insisted they come clean. If you recall, Steffy was perfectly happy to keep the secret! Steffy is sneaky and dishonest and that’s why we call her out!

I find it ironic that there’s all this “Ho” talk that’s been going on for over a week, when Hope hasn’t even done anything yet! So I guess I should just start referring to Steffy as “Slutty Steffy” when I talk about her.
We do agree on one thing…..it seems it’s always the “woman’s fault”…..both on this blog and in real life. And that is double standard crap if you ask me!! About a year ago I ranted on this blog about that very thing. Total double standards!!! Men have no accountability???
But back to Steffy’s responsibility in all of this….it’s true Steffy didn’t initiate those kisses with Liam, but it’s Steffy’s responsibility as a married woman to come clean about what happened, and she never breathed a word of it to Finn.
And as far as the time Steffy slept with married Liam after the mannequin incident, she had no intention of telling Finn at all. It was Liam who insisted they come clean. Because the guilt of them having had sex together while he was married to Hope was eating him alive!! Steffy only told Finn about that night because Liam gave her no other choice. She would have kept it under wraps forever if she had her way. And she said as much!
Steffy is dishonest and sneaky, and that’s why we complain about her behavior. But pretty funny that Hope is getting called “Ho” the second she fantasizes about Finn! Nothing has even happened yet! She hasn’t acted on those fantasies, nor has she told Finn that she has feelings for him. So I’m thinking some of the Steffy fans could tamp down the hate…..at least until Hope actually does something inappropriate.
Maybe the Steffy fans could dial back the Hope hate until she actually acts on her fantasies or tells Finn she has feelings for him. Neither of those things has happened yet. Right now Hope is just THINKING inappropriate thoughts. Steffy has actually DONE inappropriate things! Slutty Steffy!

Where was Hope's responsibility as a married woman to come clean to Liam about her fantasies, and kisses with Thomas? He only found out by seeing it with his own eyes. Steffy right now is looking out for her kids, something Hope doesn't seem to worried about. Yes, Steffy's coming on a little strong with Finn but with just cause. Hope is just living like a 20yr old with crushes. She needs to grow up. She doesn't deserve Finn or Thomas. Ok, sorry I'm done my rant.

Plus the main difference between Steffy and Hope is that even though both do the same things, only one is a vicious, sanctimonious hypocrite who judges the whole world around her. If Steffy was acting with an ounce of humility and regard that she is NO better than Brooke/Hope, there would be far less hate towards her. But in her mind she's high and mighty and entitled to pass judgment on everyone.
DeleteI really want Sheila to be a changed woman. I do pray that she has had some form of redemption mainly because I want to see Deacon win. He is so happy and confident in Sheila and married her knowing all the terrible thing she has done, and I believe that is because he took the time to see that there is a lost soul in Sheila and that she only needed someone to care for her and now that Deacon has gone above and beyond for her, I pray she does not break his heart. Look at how happy this guy is. There was a time when Brooke was the love of his life, but now he can confidently boast to Brooke about his new bride. He is living his best life with the flawed woman he loves and the successful business he is running. Came from the bottom of the cell, literally, and worked himself up so that his daughter can be proud of him. I'm proud of him. So I hope they write Sheila in to be everything that he deserves.

ReplyDeleteSo funny Brooke telling Hope to "snap out of it"! I posted those exact words here a few days ago (Except Brooke didn't slap her. That would have made it more dramatic, and funnier). Okay B&B, add me to the writing team. I'm sure I could do as well, maybe better than the current writers.

And why would Brooke tell Deacon that about Hope? Even if Sheila didn't overhear it, Deacon would have told her. I can't think of anyone who Brooke should tell that to. Even Donna and Katie would probably tell someone else. Then it would eventually get back to Steffy. And we can already see Sheila will try to use the information to her benefit.
Hope needs to just back way off from Finn. Her crush feelings won't go away if she keeps seeing him so much. She needs a random hookup. Those have always helped me to get over someone. 🤭
