Tom said he was always involved with music but he didn't say because he was a roadie.
ReplyDeleteJust a thought but could it be that Poppy told Tom he was Luna's father and maybe he supported her or paid child support or somehow she got money from him and he ended up homeless?

ReplyDeleteBut Hope asked Steffy some pertinent questions, which seemed to give Steffy pause. Despite that, Steffy is still adamant and it is mainly because she relishes being mean to Hope. Steffy is really being very petty and immature. I thought she was above that. She used to be. Maybe the stress of Sheila is having an effect on her.

ReplyDeleteHope your ego is sooooo big it has to be all about you !! Steffy couldn’t possibly be glad her brother ended the toxic one sided relationship with Hope. Thomas did ALL the giving and Hope took it as her due.
The fact is she wasn’t going to marry Thomas but she cannot stand the thought that he could move from his slavish devotion to her.
I am laughing at everyone who wants her with Finn. She needs a man who loves only her and even Finn and Steffy get divorced, she will always be the love of his life!!
Hope needs a man who loves her, otherwise she’s just repeating the same old cycle for the millionth time! She deserves better than once again competing for a man who loves another woman, his WIFE!!!
I think Poppy was a groupie and stayed mum because she didn’t know who Luna’s father was.
I think Hope, just like Ridge, has a right to be concerned about Thomas moving on so quickly. She did say that she would respect his decision but she is concerned. Nothing wrong with that.
DeleteI agree about Finn as well. Hope does not need to be with yet another man whose heart belongs to Steffy (or any other woman). If she does choose to be with Finn, I think it will be only to get back at Steffy anyway.
Regarding Poppy, I think she very well knew that Tom was Luna's dad, which is why she kept it secret. From what we've heard of Poppy, she went after wealthy men. Tom certainly was not wealthy. I think she kept the secret about him being Luna's dad because she was ashamed.
And I'm laughing when someone supports the most arrogant (nearly caricature levels) person this soap has ever seen. Talk about chasing someone who loves another half her life, thank God for Finn, otherwise she'd still be locking people in gondolas trying to get Liam.

Steffy and Hope are both delusional. Really boring catfight today, nothing new. Steffy is so arrogant, so self-important, it looks like a satire of a soap diva at times.
ReplyDeleteThomas really gives a convincing impression that he actually thinks marrying the next best person is right. Maybe he doesn't have a plot. Still, I'm expecting some other details to come to light in regards to this impromptu engagement (maybe from Paris' side), otherwise - boring.
Poppy I can't wait for your secret to to pop your balloon life with Bill. He deserves so much better. Only shame about Luna who is lovely. I hope she's still Bill's but he dumps Poppy for her secrets.

I think she will turn out Bill's. Usually with such paternity debacles, the dad ends up the guy for the best (storyline) ending. People don't have an established connection to Poppy or Tom, but Bill is quite beloved and him getting a daughter would be a happy ending. Plus Luna could be a new gen main character, it makes sense to make her rich like all them bold and beautiful main characters.

DeleteAbout Thomas, we'll see. He does deserve to have a happy married life for a while. He's the only one who hasn't had it on this show. It could be a nice change if they do leave him be with Paris for a bit.
The blog is erratic that way, M. In the past, I've written comments which did not show up until about 2 days later. I'm not sure what the issue is. It could be as simple as a bug fix.
DeleteI agree with you regarding Thomas. I would like for him to be happily married. When he first left for Paris, I commented that he might return with someone, which I was open to as it would be an opportunity for us to see whether Hope truly loved him and would fight for him. I had no idea it would be Paris. I don't like her much but if she can bring him happiness for a little while, then so be it. I don't believe it would reach that far though.
That said, in his discourse with Ridge today, Thomas seemed desperate to move on from Hope and to prove to Ridge that he had. I'm sure he hasn't. He just buried his feelings. And Paris is quite naive to think otherwise. For her sake, I hope Thomas doesn't leave her standing at the altar the way Carter did. If they have to end, I hope Paris understands and supports Thomas.
I was very skeptical about his feelings but today he said he loves Paris (interestingly he couldn't say it when Hope asked). I haven't heard him say this about anyone (this actor at least) apart from Hope. I have the feeling theirs will be this year's dramatic wedding that someone ends abruptly 😀 I can totally see Paris "realizing" how he loves Hope and setting him free or something like that. It's a bit sad that they use Paris only to advance other storylines. I also don't like her particularly but that's because of the storylines they keep giving her.

ReplyDeleteok, here's my theory...poppy & tom hung out back in the day. now when bill describes 'that fantastic night' with poppy, he's very effusive. i suspect poppy IS a gold digger & her and tom knew who he was, dollar bill, & devised a plan to trap him. she may have already been pregnant with luna by tom but he wasn't ready to be a father so they decided to target bill. i think she slipped him her 'mints' which would heighten his experience therefore why he remembers it as being so 'memorable'. i then think her & tom had a falling out about sharing in the money or something and she split. now he's back to get his share, perhaps. yeah, a lot of hole but seems reasonable. though i can't figure out the paternity test showoing bill as the father.

Tom talked about playing at festivals. If they go to listen to the live music, maybe Tom will play "their" song. Bill will remember and walk down memory lane. If Deacon looks up Tom maybe their is a photo/photos of Poppy back in the day.
Where should Thomas & Paris have the wedding? Il Gardino's? No, Paris probably has bad memories of her non-wedding with Carter there. The Forrester mansion? No, Thomas probably has bad memories of his non-wedding with the bride's sister, Zoe, there. Who should officiate the wedding? Carter? No, that would be awkward. Should the bride invite her sister, Zoe, to the wedding? Probably not, since she almost married the groom. Hmmm...this relationship is a hot mess...😂

ReplyDeleteThe moment when Douglas was telling Ridge and Steffi about "dad's new fiancee and how much he loved her". Gush, gush gush. It was sickening to hear a kid talk like this. We know Douglas is smarter than the average bear, but to be talking to his grandfather and aunt like this? That would never be allowed in my house. Maybe because I'm old fashioned. And he has moved on just as quickly as his father. Out with the old mum and in with the new.
