Steffy, you may possibly have tipped Chief Baker off to the wrong mother-in-law. Your birth mother-in-law tried to save Tom & she seemed genuinely horrified to find Hollis behind the bar. On the other hand, your adopted mother-in-law - the doctor - did nothing to save Tom.

DeleteStefy does nothing the truth! Stefy is the most deluded person on the show with her "Her-Royal-Highness" complex she lives with in her head. Let's see her tell the truth about kissing Liam and palming Kelly off on Liam after she got pregnant by Bill from their one night stand. Bill changed Kelly's DNA test results so she looked like Liam's daughter, instead of the TRUTH, Bill's daughter. Nice mom there! DeleteBill didn't change anything! He would have been thrilled to be Kelly’s father! He was desperately trying to get Steffy to leave Liam and be with him. Do you remember the room in the mansion he did up for Kelly and begged Steffy to move in and raise Kelly together?? That is a completely fabricated story that Bill swapped results.
DeleteBBFan don't bother, you won't win against that particular conspiracy windmill. Apparently there's even a video of Bill switching results but we are yet to see a link. I can imagine it's one of those put together videos with screenshots from other places/episodes and a voiceover "explaining", not an actual footage from an episode. Do you think if that had actually happened, nobody would have seen it and been able to corroborate?

DeletePlus Hope is Deacon's daughter which makes her off limits to Sheila. Sheila wants to protect her life with Deacon at all cost. Otherwise I'd agree with you, no woman in Finn's orbit is safe from Sheila.

DeleteI agree that Sheila is NOT the killer. When Hollis encountered the mystery person, what he said does not seem like it would have been Sheila considering how she had spoken to him earlier. But I don't think it was Li either. It sounded like he knew the person. I don't think he knows Li like that. Jack, however did mention Hollis by name when he was talking to Finn. Jack also said he was happy Bill is Luna's father. Maybe he killed Tom because he wants Luna to have a better future with Bill as her father. Maybe Hollis called Jack and told him what he found in Tom's backpack. And as for Sheila. There are no more secrets about her. Nothing Tom could reveal about her.

Hollis death may have been accidental. It is possible he drank from the same blue bottle as Tom. Hollis' death of an overdose of the same drug that killed Tom indicates that Tom did not relapse and start taking drugs again. Who knows, but maybe the blue beverage was meant for Sheila. Li has made it known that she wants Sheila dead. Li would have access to medication...
DeletePoppy, Jack, and Li are all suspects. Thus, I theorize that Poppy and Jack are working together to keep Bill from discovering the truth about Luna. Tom or Jack is her father. The way Jack spoke about Poppy today proves that he is very protective of her. I believe they had a long-term affair.
DeleteValinda, I also think Poppy & Jack had an affair. It would explain Li's hate for her sister. If Jack is Luna's daddy, Li, Poppy, & Jack would all rather everyone believe that someone else is Luna's father so the family's dirty little secret is safe.

ReplyDeleteIt was Jack. Present or aired on the show both times someone was killed. But evidently is that Hollis knew the person. He said, I'm glad you are here. He does not know Poppy. He might know Lee from coming to the restaurant for pick up as she claims was the reason she was there the night tom died. But unless what Hollis found in Toms bag was some medical records, I don't see why he would be glad to see Lee. It's not Sheila because Sheila had already scold Hollis to get rid of the filthy bag. I noticed the night tom died jack called Hollis by his name as if they had known each other. Again when talking to Lee and Fin, he mentioned Hollis name. They must know each other cool. The mannerisms in which he spoke to the person was that of a man talking to another man. A man's approach to a woman would be different, less excitement and enthusiasm😂. But rather more soft and macho.

What was that odd conversation with jack and Finn about Poppy? Who ever killed Hollis did it because Hollis found what's in toms bag that could be related to toms death. He only told this to Sheila, but what if the killer was lurking around the bushes when the lights keep flickering and overheard what Hollis said to Sheila. It's gat to be jack or lee. But the motive is all surrounding lunas paternity

DeleteJack and Li were doctors working at the same hospital where Sheila was also a nurse. That's how their affair started. Then suddenly, when Sheila was in prison, Jack miraculously became a "big time" lawyer. Milla is right. There were a lot of questions back then as people remembered Jack being a doctor and not a lawyer. Too funny.

Sad to see Hollis go. It may or may not have been murder. All we know is that he died from the same drug as Tom.
Lynn I can't believe and don't understand why Thomas is going back to France? Maybe they want a completely clear path for Hope and Finn... I thought we'd be seeing a wedding very soon.

And yes poor Hollis... I don't think he died without someone's "help", especially I can't imagine him taking that drug voluntarily. Jack is looking more and more suspicious but I hope it's not him, but rather someone more interesting like Justin. Still have to point out how ridiculous - the killer didn't even think of looking for a backpack last week but was somehow directly there when Hollis found it and realized "damn, evidence!"... Why can't they just put some thought into it…
Milla, yes….so weird about how they were talking about getting married at Eric’s, and then almost instantly they are on a plane heading back to France. That was weird.

But I noticed Hollis was drinking something when the power was out, and I thought maybe he found one of Tom’s blue sport drinks in his backpack and was drinking it. Kind of as a tribute to Tom. And maybe that drink had also been laced with whatever drug Tom died from. And if Hollis did drink the poison that was only ever intended for Tom, then maybe Hollis’ death was just an accident.
Someone mentioned that Hollis had found letters to Poppy from Tom that were returned unopened. So that could still point to Poppy as being the killer. I definitely don’t think it’s Li or Sheila.
It was so funny when Jack said he had to leave the night of Tom’s performance because the singing was so bad!!! And Li agreed! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 YES, It was AWFUL!!!
What I don’t get is how the killer even knew Hollis found the backpack. No one but Sheila and Deacon knew. And I just don’t think Sheila did it.
Lynn that's a great theory about Tom's drink. It could be it. Still I wonder the same things how that person knew now (and not at all before the performance) about the backpack and Hollis finding it. Are they watching IGs security tapes? Remember when they were looking for Sheila there were tapes and Deacon deleted them...
DeleteI also don't think it's Sheila - they are trying hard to make her seem guilty with that talk about not allowing anyone stand in the way of her happiness with Deacon. And her signature evil faces. And I don't think it's Deacon unless he has some motive we don't know (there were some theories he's Luna's father 😅 Poppy could have been popping anyone at this point). It's quite messy.

Maybe the person did not show up to kill Hollis however, when Hollis showed them the contents of Tom's bag, it was at that point the person decided that Hollis had to die. If those letters reveal Tom to be Luna's real father, then someone is going through a lot of trouble to hide that fact.

But they should have looked for personal item of the victim, letters or no letters. Especially the police. And if I'm the killer, also I would take care of that. He/she must have had a reason to strike Tom right at this moment. And that was when he started talking about the letters and being Luna's father.

Tom's "drug overdose" was clean cut. There was no need for an investigation. Now that Hollis has died, possibly by the same drug, they might reopen Tom's case to determine if there was any foul play regarding his death.

DeleteMilla, in a case like this (a man that was recently homeless and a previous drug user), I am honestly not sure how much investigation would be done. I would think they would do at least some investigation for foul play though.

I'm not sure I would be willing to put aside the fact that my mother-in-law (from hell) shot my husbad and I and left us for dead. Sheila has done evil things for way too long for me to believe that she has suddenly stopped and has changed.
