ReplyDeleteWhen you know, why wait? My friend got engaged three months after his wife passed and he just celebrated his 15th year anniversary. I don't believe in long-term dating and engagements.

DeleteI think it is important to get to know the person's good as well as their bad sides, how they handle different situations and how they treat you in different situations and during hard times. Living together for a while is also crucial in my opinion, two people that otherwise get along well might drive each other crazy after moving in together.

DeleteBut, Ridge & Taylor had been married before. They have grown children who have given them grandchildren. Thomas & Paris are a rebound relationship. Yes, they were roommates years ago at his apartment. That was around the time Thomas had the Hope mannequin in his apartment.

DeleteBtw I'm expecting Finn again to be saying to Hope how much better than Thomas she deserves. Every time he says it, Hope looks like it's really coming through.
The spoilers seem to suggest that he will help her analyze her feelings for Thomas. What that will look like is anyone's guess.
DeleteWe know what Finn‘s opinion is about Thomas. He won’t be encouraging Hope to fight for him. He’ll be all admiring and supportive towards Hope again.

ReplyDeleteThe fact that Thomas proposed to Hope while engaged to Paris means his ♥️ is still with Hope. No matter how Hope answers, Paris will be 💔 brokenhearted once again after she learns that Thomas has proposed to Hope while engaged to Paris.

ReplyDeleteThomas is not like that. He has also loved Hope for a long time and just wants them to move on into their future together. I understand that.
DeleteWhat I don't understand is Hope not being ready to commit to anyone and especially Thomas, but she expects him to wait until she is ready. Ridge was right. If Hope doesn't want to commit to a marriage with Thomas then she should allow him to move on.

ReplyDeleteHope is going to say yes. Her Mom now approves, she just finished talking to her mom about basically regretting her decision. Has been begging Thomas not to marry Paris.
ReplyDeleteThe look Hope gave Thomas was simply shock that she finally can have what she has been wanting and didn’t think would happen since the announcement and him leaving the country.
I think Thomas might either retract his proposal or Paris might interrupt them. So, we may be left not knowing what her answer is going to be.

I don't think we will get Hope's answer, Lynn. The preview at the end showed Paris walk into the living room and Thomas walking over to her. It might be that she interrupts them before Hope says anything. 🤷🏻♀️

But if she does, she will for sure question why the close proximity between Hope and Thomas, not to mention the hand holding. It’s going to look very suspicious! Not sure how long Paris can effectively bury her head in the sand?? 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
DeleteBut here’s what I will say….even if they get interrupted, and Hope has to walk away at that moment without giving Thomas an answer….if the girl truly wants to marry the boy, she will find a way to have that conversation with Thomas post haste! No way she would stand idly by and let Thomas marry Paris just because they got interrupted at Eric’s. So like I mentioned, if she is still fantasizing about Finn….then I think she’s still not ready to say ‘Yes’ to Thomas. Which you know makes me extremely happy. 😁😁😁😁
Btw Hope's eyes were also indicative - she didn't look pleasantly shocked, she looked down in discomfort. I can imagine she'll be silent or start mumbling something and Thomas will be all "you can't say yes can you?" and walk away from her.

DeleteI think that was the neck rub she already had and which started the fantasies. For them to show that in a preview is definitely not because Hope will be suddenly seeing Finn platonically. She’s crossed the line of feelings already. Fantasies or actual moments with him, it’s started. Steffy should watch out.

But getting engaged after just a few months….directly on the heels of a breakup with the love of his life….I call bullshit! He’s still the conman! Nothing’s changed!
My bad, Milla. I did not look at the show for 3 months so would have missed all of the Finn fantasies by Hope. If that scene has already happened, then you and Lynn are probably right that it's Hope fantasizing.
