DeleteD - I didn’t even get the impression that Li knew who Tom was. But for sure I NEVER thought Finn was Luna’s dad. And to this day, I still don’t think that’s even a remote possibility. It may not have been Poppy who killed Tom, but based on what we know at this time, I think it’s her. I initially liked Poppy’s character. But now I think she’s just an opportunist. It seems the only reason she is living with Bill is so Bill can have Luna in his home. Poppy is just a means for Bill to have Luna be a huge part of his life. It’s so sad that every time Poppy says how much she loves Bill, he replies with the words….I love you Poppy, for giving me Luna. How sad is that??!!!
DeleteIt is sad, Poppy truly? wants the best for her daughter and maybe it means, what ever it takes. Maybe Bill isn't buying the whole thing either. Like I said, I shouldn't comment until I catch up, but last week the Bill moving them in so quick and Luna, how happy she is Bill is her dad. I don't think Luna is as innocent as she seems.

Poppy is clinging on to Bill quite hard. She likes his lifestyle for herself as well as for Luna. And doesn't even realize that Bill is not at all so emotionally invested in her. He still wants his Katie. Who btw looked really hot indeed.
D - Bill seemed very smitten with Poppy when he first realized who she was. But since the Luna reveal, he has seemed pretty uninterested in Poppy. And I think their chemistry sucks. He looks like he’s really having to act when they have romantic scenes together. Bill belongs with a big breasted lady with lots of curves. Lol. Poppy just doesn’t seem like his type. And I don’t like when they have women do ‘sexual favors’ for their men to thank them. Seems very prostitute like to me. Poppy needs to get a job and get a life outside of Bill. Sitting around a fancy mansion all day would be boring if that’s all you did.

Still it would be too gross for this particular soap because of the aunt-nephew relationship. And I was also thinking about the pedophile aspect. Finn and Luna had memories playing together, climbing trees, I don't know how it would be even possible years-wise to have an affair which produced her...
DeleteActually, incest is not just applicable to blood relatives. Jack and Li adopted Finn as their legal son and Poppy, being Li's sister is also Finn's aunt legally. Incest therefore applies.
DeleteI don't think the writers will go there with such an incestuous storyline for the main reason that, brushing it aside would send a very bad message that incest is tolerable. Because we all know that if Finn is Luna's father, they would eventually brush it aside like it's nothing.
Personally, I do not believe that Finn is the father. I believe Jack is.

I don't think Poppy is Finn's step aunt, but his adoptive aunt? It would be gross either way, but as far as "brushing it off" goes.. not until every character on the show has repeated it at least 10 times for several weeks :D But what can you do really, other than move on after giving Poppy a hard time about it. After all Luna would be the one affected most and a shocked Finn.

DeleteIf Poppy killed Tom, she could be upset that things between them had to come to that, especially since it seemed she genuinely cared about him at one point. I think however, that Poppy being the killer is too obvious since she was the last one with him and their exchange was less than friendly. That, to me, leaves:
DeleteLi - if she did indeed fake the paternity test and put things in place for Bill to be Luna's dad, she might have seen Tom as a problem that had to be taken care of (motive).
Justin - he would have obviously been hired to do the job. The question is by who. This is why I thought it could be Bill since he looked kind of suspicious when Luna asked Poppy about why she kept Bill being her dad a secret for so long. If Bill decided to investigate Tom and found out that he really is Luna's bio dad, he might have wanted to get rid of him in his desperation to keep his newfound family together (motive).
Then, there is Jack. I really have no idea what motive he would have for getting rid of Tom except that if he believes himself to be Luna's father, he may have wanted to get rid of Tom with his assertions of being Luna's dad. That would be dumb though since, with Bill being named the biological father, that would be the perfect opportunity for Jack to step up and tell the truth. So, maybe he does not even know that Luna is his.
Ufff Li being the killer would be so complicated it seems unlikely. This would mean that she wrongly thought Jack was the dad (so she faked the test), then heard it is Tom and decided committing murder to hide her first much lesser crime with the test was worth it? Wouldn't it be easier to claim it was a faulty test than risk going to prison for murder? Jack would not be the father in either case (Bill or Tom) so her initial wish is granted.
